STORY22 training next gen marketers in best practice principles

Coaching business owners has long been a major focus for STORY22, working as part of the StoryBrand coaching team on the Livestream workshops and also offering 1-2-1 dedicated coaching for businesses owners. This work is always highly rewarding and impactful for those we engage with. So we are now thrilled to announce we will be able to extend our work in this area to train the next generation of digital marketers too.

We celebrate National Apprentice Week by announcing the appointment of STORY22 co-founder Julie Firth as a specialist trainer with Digital Marketing Academy Working Knowledge. Julie will be working directly with digital marketing apprentices to help them create lead generators and compelling email marketing campaigns. 

StoryBrand principles

The Bristol-based apprenticeship academy has aligned its whole digital marketing apprenticeship curriculum to the StoryBrand methodology. This puts the marketing focus on the customer’s needs and wants, rather than on the brand image of the business. You can read more about the StoryBrand approach here.

Julie said: “I’m delighted to be delivering training for the Working Knowledge team. It is a fantastic opportunity to work with an academy that not only believes in, but aligns its learning with, the same StoryBrand principles that our own agency is established on. Training has been a long-held personal ambition of mine and I’m so excited to be working with the hugely talented individuals who are accepted onto this programme.”

Julie honed her skills as a national and regional journalist, and marketing and communications professional, specialising in strategic marketing, brand messaging and copywriting coaching. Since becoming a StoryBrand Guide in 2020 she has coached hundreds of business owners on their copywriting and marketing.

Training the next generation
