STORY22 Co-Founder, Sonya Whittam Announced As New Associate Trainer For Working Knowledge Digital Marketing Apprenticeship Academy
Getting a foot on the employment ladder in the marketing world is tough. Competition is fierce and with no qualifications under your belt it can be difficult to stand out in a sea of candidates.
Since STORY22 was established over three years ago, helping young people get a head start in marketing has been one of our passions. Our co-founder Julie Firth became an associate trainer with Digital Marketing Academy Working Knowledge at the beginning of 2022 to help the next generation of digital marketers.
And now we are delighted to announce our other co-founder Sonya Whittam will be joining Julie as an associate trainer leading on the SEO module for Working Knowledge.
The Bristol-based apprenticeship academy helps train upcoming marketeers, enabling them to become industry professionals. It has aligned its entire digital marketing apprenticeship curriculum with the StoryBrand Framework. You can read more about this approach to marketing here.
Supporting the next generation
Sonya will be guiding the Working Knowledge digital marketing apprentices through developing their Search Engine Optimisation skills to improve how the businesses they work for rank in search engines like Google and Bing.
Sonya said: “SEO can be confusing if this is not your area of expertise. There are so many different elements to it, and it can get quite technical. Businesses often engage the services of an SEO expert for this reason. I will be showing the apprentices what best practice looks like. Also how they can employ these tactics in their own organisation to get the best results for their business.”
Sonya is a fourth year StoryBrand Guide and has helped coach hundreds of business owners through this powerful communication framework. The framework aims to help create a clear and compelling message to win business more easily.
